M. Lavais Williams

M. Lavias Williams is a multi-talented musician and singer. After his grandmother’s passing, M. Lavias moved to NY and joined the choir at Bethany Baptist Church. In addition to becoming a member of the Gospel Choir, he also played for Bethesda Baptist Church and was named the Asst. Director for the Youth Choir and the Music Director. He considers being a part of The Voices of Calvary one of his greatest accomplishments, besides his sons LaviasS. Williams, Jr and Le’Juan Moffatt, as it became one of the best concert choirs in Queens. Currently, M. Lavias plays on 2nd & 3rdSundays for Lemuel Haynes, the pastor Rev. T. Calhoun, and for funeral services when requested. Although he’s faced with health challenges and visual impairment, he thanks God for his gift of song, that still allows him to provide for his family, uplift and give comfort to those in need
